In the leather warehouse are deposited the highest quality, rigorously hand selected, leathers: nappa soft as fabric, velvety suede, supple kidskin, lambskin pleasing to the senses, featherweight metallic leather and patent leather. Next door is where, with great precision, are cut, uppers, vamps, side parts and other parts of the shoe. Only an expert, familiar with the entire working procedure is capable of establishing if the leather is suitable to become part of the shoe. He will do so by considering size, weight, grain and flexibility and will take care that the same leather is used for the same parts of both shoes in the pair.
